This hotel is a great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The location of this hotel is perfect, positioned to discover the area and conveniently located on a major road junction. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds and all the basic amenities we needed. The breakfast offered at this hotel was also reasonably priced and a great start to the day.

Found Glegg Arms with perfect drinks 200 metres away. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus. Easy to reach from Chester Hawarden airport, 33 minutes drive. The property was 3 km away from The Smithy.

The location was convenient for sightseeing and the village itself was pretty, with some great restaurants available. the option to have dinner and breakfast included in the food package was great value for money.

Despite the initial resolution of these issues, later finding dusty cobwebs around the bed did not make for a comfortable and relaxing night's sleep.
